Constructed in 1875, Palais Schlesinger Horowitz in Vienna was recently renovated into private apartments. Neue was commissioned to design one of the private Penthouses and rooftop terrace.
In respect to the Interior Design, we developed and designed a conceptual re-interpretation of Wiener Werkstätte’s Josef Hoffmann aesthetic + approach. Inspired by Hoffmann’s geometries through graphics to furniture, the design incorporated a formation of new geometric paradigms that outline our interior, architecture and lighting designs. While maintaining respect for the heritage of the architectural and setting, this new-build penthouse
re-interprets historic local references with a modern approach.
